Blue-Green Chirimen Silk Kinchaku

This pouch is made with upcycled vintage kimono fabric on the outside and new cotton fabric on the inside. A Kimono often has unique pattern running down its length, so most of my pouches are one-of-a-kind.

Strong mid weight textured silk ("chirimen" or crepe fabric) in Blue - Green gradation with floral print in white, red, and purple. Cotton lining is dusty pink with cherry blossom pattern. Grey Japanese "Edo-uchi" rayon drawcords.
